Local shelters offer refuge from freezing temperatures

King County winter shelter information is maintained by the 2-1-1 Crisis Clinic at http://www.cehkc.org/scope/shelters.aspx. Please report any missing or inaccurate information.

With temperatures dropping below freezing in many areas overnight, don't put off winter preparedness tasks. It's important to winterize your home (i.e. wrapping pipes and outdoor faucets), pack warm clothing and emergency supplies in your vehicle, and register for emergency alerts, such as:
