Class Description:

The Kirkland CERT Program, together with WASART, the Washington State Animal Response Team, is presenting highlights from the CERT Animal Response Modules I & II.  CERT members and interested Kirkland residents will learn how to prepare to care for their pets when disaster strikes:

  • What resources to have on hand
  • How to identify animal behavior
  • How to safely deal with animals you might encounter in the disaster’s aftermath
  • What is involved in setting up an animal shelter

  • Registration deadline is October 16th
  • A minimum of 10 registrations is required to run the class.
